Meet Rebecca
Rebecca walks with you step by step to help guide you and provide you with the tools for you to succeed with your wellness goals.
Originally from LaGrange, Georgia, family roots led Rebecca to Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. After majoring in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration, she began her business career as a Client Accountant with the GEM Group, a sports marketing firm based in Atlanta. She later joined Accenture, a global consulting firm and stayed there for 17 years.
In 2018 and 2019 she struggled immensely with depression. After trying several different medications she ended up leaving Accenture to put herself first. The recovery road began with ketamine treatments, therapy appointments and eventually Brainspotting and EMDR. Her recovery journey led her to significantly change the way she eats.
Movement is also a big part of her life. As a result, she is currently pursuing her passion by helping others with their health and fitness journeys. She is pursuing a nutrition certification through Cornell University and is a certified Life Coach.
Rebecca is married to David Dickey and has two children, Thomas (teenager) and Caroline (tween). When not working with clients she enjoys staying active in a variety of ways. Rebecca has always been an active volunteer and servant leader with Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. She and her family own a tiny home in the Northwest Georgia mountains where they escape to recharge their batteries and seek new adventures.
Rebecca is passionate about sharing her depression story so that others know there is hope and do not feel alone. .
